Graffiti Rose

Here is the begining of a wall I have started which will be covered in roses which I am painting in sprays.

The whole concept has come about due to one of my staff members "challenging the boss" as he put it. I find this a good way of getting the creative juices flowing as you have to step up and take the challenge.

I will continue to add images as I add to the wall.

Random Through Ups

These are just some random protraits that I have started to do in sprays

More Bellamy Stuff

Here are a few more pics of stuff done at Bellamy. The image of the Ninja Monkey was done by one of my staff with a group of the youngsters and the image of the vines with the flowers was done by me and some more youngsters.

The Bellamy project is due to finish at the end of March and hopefully if more funding comes through we will be able to continue with similar stuff on the estate.

Here is a Caricature that I did as a demonstration to some of the youngsters who are attending the art project at Bellamy.

The image was from a pencil drawn doodle that I did a couple of days earlier. The image that is on the blog is a free hand throw up on the wall using sprays.

Wheat Paste Graff

Hello to everybody X

Firstly can I just say a big thankyou for all your feedback to may other posts. I have tried to go to all your posts individually but due to me being very busy and not having enough time to say thankyou to all of you I have decided to start this post by saying a BIG THANKYOU!!!! :-)

Anyway I must appologise as there is only one image at present due to the weather being very cold and my fingers had gone a funny colour of blue after just producing one image. As I manage to put more images up I will post them on here.
The image (if people struggle to see) is of a young woman (no one in particular, just an image I have used). I have drawn the image up in large format (about 1m x 1m) and then painted her black and white using external wood and metal paint and "several" HB pencils.

I then (and this bit I really enjoyed, and it reminded me of Wednesday afternoons at my late Grans when I was a child). I used simmering water and flour, about 6 cups of water to one cup of plain flour and mixed it to make the glue (wheat Paste) and then literally pasted the image to the brick work at Bellamy.

I will admit that some of the younger children helped as this was part of their project but due to the weather they lasted all of 2 minutes which is fare doos!

ENJOY and have a go (although remember that alot of people wont appreciate having stuff pasted on their wall randomly and you will get fined, community service is not fun!) I say though that all public buildings should come with a wheat paste, lets paste the world ;-)

Bellamy Road Estate Art Project

These are some images of a project that I am currently leading on through where I work.

We (me and some of my Youth Workers) have been engaging with young people on an estate in Mansfield which is currently quite run down and is in the process of having a lot done to it. We have been doing a mural project involving different processes, one of which is Graffiti based and producing images with the young people on a donated wall.

Hope you like.

Here's some more images of my work.

Portraits in pencil this time. X

Better late than never!

Hi to whoever decides to take a look at my blog.

My Mum (Lesley Ebdon) has been bugging :-) me for some time now to set myself up with a blog, well here it is.

Hope you like it.

Not got much time at the moment but I thought I would just add a few images of some of my pieces first and as I get time to make them I will continue to add photo's.
